To the Editor:
I would like to give a large thank-you to the Beach Haven Law enforcement Department.
Late afternoon on Thursday, Jan. 14, immediately after arriving at our Beach Haven house, I made a decision to consider a walk and take pleasure in the wonderful climate. For the duration of my walk I recognized the two credit cards I maintain in my cellphone circumstance have been lacking. When I returned residence I searched my car and home but to no avail. I then retraced my actions fairly but even now no luck. Inspite of my husband’s urging to notify the credit card organization of my reduction, I nonetheless hoped and prayed they would flip up.
Two hours afterwards, while planning meal, there was a knock on my door. Law enforcement Officer Michael McCaffrey experienced my dropped playing cards!
Thank you to the particular person(s) who found my playing cards in the vicinity of Seashore Avenue and Pearl Avenue and turned them in to the Beach Haven Law enforcement Department as nicely as Officer McCaffrey, who was variety enough to find me and provide my dropped credit rating cards. These considerate functions of kindness are a reminder of the sturdy spirit of neighborhood that exists on LBI.
