Barnegat PBA Toy Drive at American Legion



Barnegat Township PBA Community 296 holds a toy push Saturday, Dec. 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. outdoors American Write-up No. 232 on Route 9 the rain day is Sunday, Dec. 13.
Ptl. Ed Hayes, celebration coordinator, stated the PBA will be accumulating new, unwrapped toys for both of those boys and women among the ages of 5 and 14 many years outdated. There will be a distinctive look by Santa Claus for photos. Free coffee, sizzling chocolate and doughnuts will be out there.
“We hope people today will arrive out and enable us assistance the fewer privileged little ones in our local community,” reported Hayes. “For some families the pandemic has produced it tougher in that folks misplaced work or got their several hours minimized. And with pupils on digital learning, some mom and dad had to continue to be house rather of going to perform.”
In addition, toys can be dropped off at assortment packing containers located at police headquarters and Dolce Bagel & Pizza Cafe, the two on West Bay Avenue, and the Four Seasons at Mirage Clubhouse. Donations will be approved by way of Tuesday, Dec. 15.
Hayes explained that last calendar year, the PBA collected toys for 300 family members.
