Barnegat Police Investigating Car Thefts

5 motor autos ended up stolen in the early early morning hours on July 31 from outdoors of residences in the Pheasant Operate, Horizons and Heritage Point North developments, Barnegat Township law enforcement reported.
The motor vehicles involved a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek, 2017 Honda Civic, 2020 Chevrolet Equinox, 2018 Honda CRV and 2015 Audi A4.
“All of the vehicles have been recovered besides for the Audi A4,” law enforcement explained. “All of the cars had been still left unlocked by their homeowners and some had keys in them.”
Police urge residents to lock their vehicles when parked in the street or driveway.
“An unlocked vehicle tends to make an straightforward goal for theft of objects from your auto or theft of the car or truck alone,” police mentioned. “Please do not depart your keys in your car or truck and make certain you lock your car.
