To the Editor:
I hope Dr. Partridge experienced her tongue firmly embedded in her cheek when she wrote her commentary about her reflection in the mirror (“Reflections on Months Without the need of Botox and Lashes,” 7/29). I honestly expected her response to be ”how refreshing it is not to have to use makeup, dye hair and costume to the nines to feel fantastic about ourselves in this COVID age of staying house, social distancing and carrying masks.” I hope her youthful son continue to sees her as gorgeous without the need of the “enhancements” that she feels she lacks.
Actual elegance is only skin deep the rest is just icing on the cake. With out the icing, the cake need to even now taste fantastic!
