Pricey Harvey Cedars Board of Commissioners:
I have expended 23 straight summers in Harvey Cedars at my family’s home on 85th Road. I know how unique this community is, and I also know how useful out of doors eating has been for our town these earlier two decades.
Given the resurgence of COVID and the better fears for everyone’s overall health, I feel it is important for Harvey Cedars eating places to have an prolonged period for out of doors eating. Black Eyed Susans, Harvey Cedars Shellfish, Neptune, Birdy’s and other local eateries have offered productive answers for out of doors dining. People now have a safer alternative to get pleasure from the pleasures of likely out without the need of needing to jeopardize their well being to do so.
Provided my mom’s autoimmune disease, my family has averted indoor dining completely throughout the pandemic. Heading to eat outside at Black Eyed Susans this year was a highlight of our summertime. And, even without having pandemic limitations, my family prefers out of doors dining when the climate is nice.
I question you to make sure you go on with borough policies that would enable adaptable out of doors seating for our neighboring eating places. Persons should really truly feel at ease that they are remaining healthful as they delight in supporting our regional organizations this spring, summertime and beyond.
