Budget of $28.8 Million Introduced in Barnegat

Barnegat Township designs to spend $28,856,373 in 2021, in accordance to a municipal price range launched by the township committee at its March 2 assembly.
Thomas Lombarski, main monetary officer, claimed the budget is $897,000 better than previous year’s ultimate determine.
He stated that across-the-board income raises amplified by just about $300,000. Pension costs for town workforce and police officers rose by $292,000.
Lombarski explained the township has also budgeted $200,000 for radio procedure updates for the volunteer fire section.
