To the Editor:
On Dec. 13, Ship Bottom’s new drinking water treatment method plant started continual procedure. The plant is now giving people and companies in Ship Bottom with cleanse, potable water.
The changeover from the old facility to the new one particular commenced on Sept. 15, followed by the necessary screening time period, which ended in early December. This would not have been achievable with no the help and cooperation of our neighboring local community to the north, Surf City. In the course of our conversion interval Surf Town graciously delivered our city with h2o, enabling us to continue on seamless, uninterrupted water provider.
Individual thanks to Mayor Francis Hodgson and Council President John Klose for their cooperation in expediting our request for support. It is comforting in knowing that when assist is required, Surf Town will be there. On behalf of anyone in Ship Base, thank you.
William Huelsenbeck, mayor
Robert Butkus, council h2o and sewer chair
