To the Editor:
A lot of many thanks to the 18 Mallard Island neighbors who volunteered to clean up up our island and for the terrific work they did. Along with Terri Torquato and Chet Revinski, I would also like to thank the neighbors who donated money to be employed for the flowers for the back garden and American flag at the entrance to our island.
Thanks to the pandemic we ended up unable to have our once-a-year island cleanup in 2020. Even with that, most neighbors ended up equipped to keep the particles down, so this 12 months was not as poor as predicted.
As generally, particular many thanks go to the Stafford Township Section of Public Works for providing the trash baggage and gloves, and to Melanie and Eric Magaziner for past and long term use of the Mud Town Crab Home as a conference area.
