Kuala Lumpur to Perhentian Island by Bus & Ferry via Kuala Besut in Terengganu- MALAYSIA TRAVEL VLOG

How to go from Kuala Lumpur to Perhentian Island?
We travel by bus and ferry to Perhentian Island!

Before we started our journey, we booked our bus and ferry tickets ahead of time online from
The bus was RM44/person, and ferry was RM35/person.

We started from TBS (Terminal Bersepadu Selatan) in KL to Kuala Besut bus terminal in Terengganu. It was a smooth 8hr bus ride. We stayed overnight in Kuala Besut at Desa Besut Inn which was very close to Kuala Besut Jetty. During our stay, we tried a new dish we never heard before: nasi cair…or was it nasi air? Hmmm… We then left the next morning to go to Perhentian Kecil Island. We got to the jetty, and paid a RM30/person marine conservation fee. After a 30 minutes ferry ride, we arrived at Rainforest beach where our glamping accommodation at Crocodile Rock Villa awaited us. This place was a beachfront property, and within walking distance to Coral Bay and Long Beach at Perhentian Island.

Nasi air is actually a Kelantanese dish. Besut is one of the districts in Terengganu but culturally it is more similar to Kelantan.

I always bought bus express ticket online. Easy and the price almost same as at ticket counter. Can select seat number, save time and fuel.
