LBI Fishing Report 10/30/20 #LBI

Here’s a seem at the Prolonged Beach front Island surf the early morning of Oct 30, 2020. The wind is cranking. It is raining and the ocean angry. At the time of this video the Barnegat Light-weight Ocean Buoy is at 13’. It’s not displaying on the seaside but there is a lot of strength. Tomorrow the wind lightens up but it will nonetheless be churned up. Will be exciting to see how points settle down.

The northern waters of NJ had stylish bass for the previous two months. I experienced a blast fishing previously this 7 days and a single day past week. The two times ended up wonderful with striped bass from 20-40# on the feed.

These fish will with any luck , bit by bit slid into our neighborhood waters in the coming days. Each year we have very good fishing in early November. It is my expectations that we will have some enjoyment this year as well!

Hello Greg and thanks so much for these informative videos! I am a fly angler looking to fish LBI for the first time very soon, having just heard about it several days ago. As I have a considerable drive to reach the island, I am trying to quickly learn as much as possible about conditions and times. Is the prime striped bass run confined to the first half of November, or does it continue through the end of the month? I had a great time at the Martha's Vineyard Derby and am a man possessed in hopes of getting just a few more tugs on the line before the season is over! Any advice you can supply is greatly appreciated. Will definitely have to stop by the shop. Thanks again and hope you're getting into some good fish in the meantime.
