LBI Fly Kite Festival Plans Scaled-Back Version

The LBI Chamber of Commerce and nearby arranging and kiting industry experts are scaling again the sixth yearly LBI Fly Worldwide Kite Pageant slated for Columbus Day weekend, they introduced before this month.  
The competition is scheduled to be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 10-11, but a closing simply call on no matter if the celebration will go on is expected to be designed shortly just after Labor Day, according to function organizers. Actions will include inflatable kite shows and activity kite demonstrations on the seaside.  
There will be no Friday night Indoor Fly at the LBI Grade University and no Sunday Night time Fly at Barnegat Lighthouse. The two events weathered flooding and rain to arrive at new heights final yr.
