So here’s an interesting bit for everyone. I’ve been noticing that my shoulders have been rounding further and further forward over the past few months (especially as I focused on upper body strength 🏋🏼‍♀️).

As someone who is used to having their shoulders balanced and back, I was startled to see all of the photos of me looking like I am a little hunched over. I realized I’ve been neglecting my stretching and mobility exercises for far too long and certain muscles being extremely tight is what is drawing my shoulders forward.

🤸🏼‍♀️This past week, I’ve been good about *daily* stretching and I’ve been going at it with the foam roller and lacrosse ball and I am feeling a difference, not only in my posture but I was able to go a lot harder in my lifting this week.💪

TL;DR: My shoulders were rounding forward because I was bad about stretching and mobility training and my lifting was apparently also suffering. So go stretch.🔥
