Lighthouse International Film Society Screening All Oscar-Nominated Short Films

The Reside Action Shorts nominees – “The Long Goodbye,” “The Costume,” “Ala Kachuu – Get and Operate,” “On My Mind” and “Please Hold” – will be screened beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 18. The overall screening time is 121 minutes.
The afternoon of Saturday, March 19 will be focused to Animated Shorts with “Affairs of the Art,” “Bestia,” “Boxballet,” “Robin Robin” and “The Windshield Wiper” kicking off at 1 p.m. The working time is 97 minutes.
Consider a split soon after the afternoon movies, love a great supper and a refreshing adult beverage (the screenings are for adults only as some films have the equivalent of a R score) at one of LBI’s fine eating places and come back at 7 p.m. on March 19 for the Documentary Quick Subjects – “Audible,” “The Queen of Basketball,” “Lead Me Household,” “Three Tracks for Benazir” and “When We Were Bullies.” The showing is 160 minutes prolonged in addition a 15-minute intermission.
All three screenings will get position at the Extensive Beach Island Foundation of the Arts and Sciences in Loveladies.
