New NJOHSP Director Honored to Serve

There’s a new sheriff in town – nicely, not accurately, but there is a new director of the New Jersey Business office of Homeland Protection and Preparedness.
On Feb. 14, Laurie R. Doran was appointed NJOSHP director by Gov. Phil Murphy. She formerly served as the acting director since June 2021 and was also director of the division of intelligence and functions. Doran joined the condition agency in 2018 and invested 32 several years with the Central Intelligence Agency’s directorate of operations prior to that.
“I am honored to accept this role and would like to thank Gov. Murphy for his self-assurance and for the prospect to keep on serving the persons of New Jersey,” she reported.
All through her tenure as performing director, she labored to improve the NJOHSP’s counter-terrorism functions as perfectly as increase the office’s partnerships to preserve New Jersey communities risk-free.  —G.G.S.
