As the 2020 presidential election nears, the Governmental Affairs Institute at Ocean County Higher education is established to present a dwell WebEx discussion with Krista Jenkins, a professor of politics and govt at Fairleigh Dickinson University and director of FDU’s study research heart, the FDU Poll. The presentation will start off at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
Jenkins will focus on “the pertinent concerns leading up to the election as properly as the platforms of President (Donald) Trump and Democratic applicant Joe Biden,” reported Brenda Lange, advertising and marketing and communications author for OCC’s Faculty Relations Section. She will also emphasize information of political polling.
Jason Ghibesi, university lecturer in political science and heritage at OCC, will moderate the dialogue.
Jenkins is a coauthor of A New Engagement? Political Participation, Civic Lifestyle and the Switching American Citizen and In which Have All the Heroes Gone? Transforming Conceptions of American Valor, and writer of Mothers, Daughters, and Political Socialization: Two Generations at an American Women’s College.
Her exploration pursuits include gender and politics, youth and politics, and American political conduct.
