Ocean County College Presents TED Talk to Mark Domestic Violence Awareness Month

The Counseling Heart at Ocean County School, in collaboration with St. Francis Counseling Support and Providence Home, will existing a recorded TED Speak at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26, to mark Domestic Violence Recognition Month. The presentation – obtainable for free via GoToMeeting – will function Leslie Morgan Steiner, advocate and writer of Insane Love.
“Steiner will share the tale of her romantic relationship and will talk about misconceptions of domestic violence,” the college or university describes.
A panel dialogue will follow, with the pursuing participants: Laurie Toole, Providence Dwelling Domestic Violence Solutions of Catholic Charities Danielle Dunne, St. Francis Counseling Assistance Sexual Abuse and Assault Prevention Software Samantha Tucker, Ocean County assistant prosecutor a consultant from OCC Safety and Security Tabitha Comery, community advocate and Patrick Lovaglio, Ocean County Batterer’s Intervention Application.
As the college notes, “Representatives also will be obtainable throughout and after the assembly to share data about their solutions.”
