A dilemma about the perch on the Barnegat Mild Osprey Cam nest prompted us to zoom in on it with the digital camera. What we found was that the 5 year old, who was hanging with the resident female in early April, has been replaced by her 14 yr aged mate! We know that from reading through his chook band (788-49033) and the distinctive flecks of dark coloration of his right iris that this is him!
