Pace of New COVID-19 Cases in Ocean County Picking Up Speed

Ocean County experienced 952 new scenarios of COVID-19 in the week ending on Aug. 16, according to the Ocean County Health and fitness Office.
There have been 118 new circumstances documented on Aug. 10, 141 on Aug, 11, 157 on the 12th, 165 on the 13th and 371 on Monday, Aug. 16. That last number is a three-day total, accounting for Saturday and Sunday as effectively as Monday.
There seemed to be a bit of superior news when the figures for the 7 days ending Aug. 9 experienced been launched. While the OCHD reported 716 new scenarios for all of Ocean County including Prolonged Beach front Island for that 7 days it appeared the spread of COVID-19 was slowing somewhat. There experienced been 599 new situations for the 7 days ending Aug. 2, which means the weekly overall experienced “only” amplified by 117 conditions. The week right before the new circumstance complete had jumped by 163 scenarios.
