Prom Dress Giveaway at Little Egg Harbor Library April 5, 6

Following a two-year layoff thanks to the pandemic, the Ocean County Library’s promenade costume giveaway is resuming.
“The 14th Promenade Dress Giveaway proceeds the library’s cherished tradition of bringing joy to younger grownups by enabling them to show up at their senior or junior proms, spring formals or eighth-grade dances, no matter of fiscal circumstances,” stated Tom Mongelli, library spokesman.
Donated official have on will be supplied free of charge of demand, and no registration is needed. People residing in the Southern Ocean County space can drop by the Minor Egg Harbor department Tuesday and Wednesday, April 5 and 6 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.  In the fascination of overall health and safety, the selection of simultaneous occupants in the conference area will be regulated.
In contrast to previous a long time, the library is not trying to get donations of formal don.
“We have a ton of prom attire remaining more than,” explained Mongelli. “We experienced started to gather them in 2020, but then it got shut down due to COVID.”
