To the Editor:
This has been a quite unsettling time. We have professional a concern for the overall health of our liked ones, in particular our little ones, like no time in my memory. It’s been a time that caused many of us to make main adjustments in our daily lives and schedules. It is a time couple of of us imagined. It is a time that has introduced several far more questions than very clear solutions.
Establishments like our universities that we have constantly taken for granted ended up adjusted, virtually right away. As we focus now on what college and schooling search like as reopening will get underway, it is straightforward to be eaten with our individual concerns and desires.
I shared with a good friend not long ago some of the remarkable factors the lecturers in our college have been doing to make sure both the safety and instruction of their returning learners. He then turned all around and requested me, “Does your community know this? Are they conscious of all the do the job the staff members customers at Eagleswood have finished to make sure their children would return to a risk-free, engaging and efficient learning environment?”
That is when I understood I needed to share publicly my admiration, my appreciation and my gratitude to all all those members of our staff members and local community who volunteered their time every and each and every 7 days to fulfill and prepare how our children could return to a safe and partaking atmosphere. They did this not for payment or even for recognition, but mainly because they required to do the ideal matter.
Margaret Mead reported, “Never question that a modest team of thoughtful, fully commited citizens can transform the earth without a doubt, it is the only detail that at any time has.” We are compact, but mighty! I am so very pleased of this college and the significant-high-quality schooling we provide to our students, no make any difference the circumstance.
As our faculty year will get underway, I recognize that our plans will not influence anyone similarly even so, right before their do the job receives shed in adjusting to the “new ordinary,” I desired to get this time to publicly identify their love for and determination to the young children of our local community. To the whole personnel of our faculty, I present my admiration and appreciation. To the mothers and fathers and associates of our college local community, thank you for your continued guidance.
A substantial shout-out to Eagleswood Elementary!
