Sherry Lee Hefferman Indicted for Surf City Murders

The Ocean County Grand Jury has indicted Sherry Lee Heffernan, 55, of Landenberg, Pa., on two counts of murder in the fatalities of her father, John Enders, and his girlfriend, Francoise Pitoy, in Surf Town on Sept. 29.
Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer manufactured the announcement Dec. 22.
The indictment stems from an Oct. 3 investigation after Surf City law enforcement officers found out Enders’ and Pitoy’s bodies in Enders’ residence on North Seventh Avenue after being asked for by a family members member to conduct a welfare look at. Enders was 87, and Pitoy was 75. She lived in Manchester.
The Ocean County Medical Examiner’s submit-mortem determined Enders died from various stab wounds with severance of the proper carotid artery and blunt drive trauma. The post-mortem assessment of Pitoy identified she died from various stab wounds as effectively as a gunshot wound to the face.
