Silver Hammers Club Aims to Teach Middle School Girls Volleyball Skills

Female volleyball players in sixth by means of eighth grades can get a leg up on the competitors this spring, as the Silver Hammers Volleyball Club gears up to host its “Skills Academy” starting up Wednesday, April 14.
Performed on 5 consecutive Wednesdays, the academy is designed to educate girls the basic fundamentals of the activity, with a emphasis on hitting, setting, passing and serving. Every session is from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Davis Centre on the grounds of the Harvey Cedars Bible Meeting, 12 Cedars Ave., Harvey Cedars.
