Stafford PD Does Community Policing Right

The residents of Stafford Township are celebrating a excellent deed by two of its law enforcement officers this week, in the spirit of holiday break providing and neighborhood policing.
Resident Virginia Josephson, 96, had a dilemma with her refrigerator Sunday evening, so she termed the law enforcement for aid. Responding officers Patrolmen Gerardo Jorge and Anthony Vincent recognized she was running reduced on groceries, so they made a specific vacation back to restock her refrigerator.
With Thanksgiving just a number of days away, they built guaranteed to pick up some sweets and apple pie.
A photo of Josephson and Jorge appeared on the department’s Facebook page, and promptly acquired over 150 remarks of glowing many thanks and praise for the officers’ caring gesture.  —V.F.
