Edwards was. It would have been fascinating to include some of her tale.
The pursuing comes from the Net: “Born in 1874, Elizabeth V. Edwards was Barnegat’s unique schoolmarm. She began training in 1903 in the Barnegat Public Faculty, a a person-area schoolhouse that served Grades 1 to 12 in advance of the Edwards School, then identified as Barnegat Higher Faculty, was constructed in 1931. Edwards became principal of the university.”
