Sweet Potato Pie Brings ‘A Home-Grown Christmas’ to Grunin Center Dec. 9

Act rapid to safe one of the remaining tickets for Sweet Potato Pie’s “A Household-Grown Christmas” at the Jay and Linda Grunin Heart for the Arts at Ocean County Faculty at 1 p.m. this Thursday, Dec. 9. Usher in the holidays with this extremely acclaimed all-female band, acknowledged for attractive harmonies and imaginative song-styling.
Tickets for the in-individual functionality are $25, and are marketed in socially distanced pods. The function will also be obtainable by way of livestream, at just $13 per viewing system.
Sweet Potato Pie – comprised of Sonya Stead and Madeleine Baucom on guitar, Crystal Richardson on banjo, Sandy Whitley on bass and Katie Springer and Tori Jones on fiddle – “has been entertaining audiences for approximately two a long time with their stylish mix of Americana, bluegrass, region and gospel tunes blended jointly in a model they call ‘sweetgrass,’” the college notes. “Radio and Television set are very well acquainted with their ‘angelic’ vocals from appearances on PBS, The Food items Community and worldwide radio broadcasts.”
The group’s displays revolve all over their wonderful 3-aspect harmonies, tricky-driving instrumentals and down-dwelling humor and storytelling. “With vintage songs from Patsy Cline, Bill Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs and other legends, mixed with their chart-topping initial tracks, audiences are in for a sensational evening of relatives entertainment,” claims OCC.
