To the Editor:
Right after basic safety, the next concern of most Barnegat residents is taxes. Very well, I am joyful to announce that this 12 months will clearly show the least expensive effects on our residence taxes in the very last nine yrs. Township, county and school taxes all mixed will necessarily mean a tiny $2.73 month to month addition to the tax monthly bill for the ordinary assessed residence.
This was achieved with the construction of a new town hall, community will work developing and new hearth truck. Good fiscal management and comprehensive planning by the township committee, our administrator and CFO have rewarded citizens with secure taxes.
Barnegat has been rated the safest city in Ocean County and has the ideal general public is effective crew in the spot (for illustration, the quick repair to the tornado-harmed dock). In addition, I will set our city corridor personnel towards people of any other city. These items do not just take place. This is tough function, price-chopping measures and accepting only the finest for our town.
Please preserve these dates: Saturday, Sept. 11, Pirates Day at the center university and a 9/11 remembrance at the superior university Sunday, Sept. 12, Grandparents Working day at Challenge Playground, and so forth. and Sept. 18, a overall health fair at our recreation middle. In addition, we invite all veterans to hear or show up at our future township conference Sept. 7 at 6:30 p.m. for steps that our township committee will be getting to benefit our very pleased veterans.
Al Bille, mayor
