Two Area Shooting Ranges Closed for Renovation

The condition-owned Stafford Forge Wildlife Administration Spot muzzleloader and shotgun ranges and the Colliers Mills WMA rifle range had been closed Tuesday, Oct. 13, for updates to firing traces and parking spots. They are envisioned to keep on being shut till February. The archery ranges at the two WMAs, independent from the shooting regions, will keep on being open all through building.
The renovations include covered capturing stations, new benches and berm enhancements, all primarily based on NRA tips. A license is needed for shotgun and muzzleloader taking pictures at the installed targets.
