Commencing Aug. 9, the United Methodist church buildings of Lengthy Beach front Island – positioned in Beach front Haven and Seashore Haven Terrace – will be supplying outside worship services at 8:30 a.m. on Sundays at the bayside pavilion on Taylor Avenue in Seaside Haven.
“Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, indoor gatherings for worship are not a good choice for us, even with adherence to stringent security protocols,” said the Rev. Scott Bostwick, who started as pastor of the two church buildings on July 1. “It can make a great deal a lot more sense to assemble outdoor, in a put that is shaded and obtainable to absolutely everyone.
“I am grateful to the borough of Beach front Haven for making it possible for us to use this space,” he added.
The companies, which will run 30 to 40 minutes in length, are open to the typical public, and will contain new music, prayers and a sermon by Bostwick. Attendees will require to bring a garden or beach chair. Masks and social distancing will be demanded.
