To the Editor:
I am creating to remark on an posting in the August Chief problem titled “Budget Slash, But Revenues Tumble, LEH Raises Residence Tax.”
Initial, I examine in which a resident, Artwork Mooney, commented in the public part that some of the seniors in Dawn Bay were “confused and upset” with the option of voting for major by mail. In all fairness, the paperwork sent by the county clerk explains it all. It is widespread feeling. If you vote by mail, then don’t display up at the polls. All I have to say to Mr. Mooney is, what about the a lot of handicapped seniors who would have a large difficulty receiving to the polls. Isn’t it less difficult and safer for them to vote by mail?
Subsequent, Committeeman Scibetta and Deputy Mayor Kehm complained about “glitches” in voting by mail and Scibetta termed for a resolution versus implementation of voting by mail in the course of the general election. Sounds like a waste of time for the reason that the point out and county clerk regulate the voting process. Tiny Egg Harbor would seem powerless to improve the voting approach. Of system, the Republicans want to suppress the vote and follow Fox News and the president’s agenda.
