Looking for a great, darkish locale to check out the Perseid meteor shower? Bass River Point out Forest is web hosting a totally free Meteor Shower Observe on Wednesday, Aug. 11 from 11 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Sign up for volunteer “astronomy guides” Wayne and Frank at the Lake Absegami beach front to see the Perseids.
Carry a blanket or reclining chair telescopes and binoculars are not required, but binoculars are required if you want to consider to see the Andromeda galaxy (M-31). The moon will not be a factor, so viewing must be ideal.
If you carry a flashlight, retain it pointed down at all times. You are demanded to wear a mask when applying the restroom and when not equipped to be at least 6 toes from an individual exterior of your team.
